• Enhances pilot skills in preventing and recovering from unusual attitudes and upsets
• Mandatory for commercial pilot training (Advanced UPRT), but also available as an optional course for PPL holders

• Validity: unlimited once completed (training certificate does not expire)

Entry Requirements

• Minimum age: 17 years
• Hold a valid PPL(A) or higher
• Medical certificate: Class 2
• RT (radiotelephony) license and LPE level 4+ for radio communication

Flight Training

• Advanced UPRT (mandatory for CPL/ATPL):
• Minimum of 5 hours theoretical knowledge instruction
• Minimum of 3 hours dual flight instruction in an aeroplane certified for intentional spins
• Optional UPRT for PPL holders:
• Tailored training focusing on prevention, recognition, and recovery from upsets and unusual attitudes
• Training completed at an ATO
• No skill test required (course completion certificate issued)

Moreover, conducted in full compliance with EASA standards and taught by experienced instructors, this essential training is delivered professionally and passionately—ultimately because your safety is our priority.

Privileges & Validity

• Perform aerobatic maneuvers as PIC on applicable aircraft within EASA member states
• May be combined with other privileges (e.g. PPL, SEP, Night Rating)
• Validity: unlimited (rating does not expire)
• Medical certificate: Class 2
• No revalidation or renewal required

• No skill test required (competency signed off by the instructor)

• Crosswind procedures and groundloop prevention
• Stalls and recovery exercises
• Emergency procedures and flight safety
• Conducted at an approved ATO or DTO
• No skill test required—competency is signed off by the instructor

• FCL.700 & FCL.710: Additional class ratings
