Privileges & Validity
• Act as Pilot In Command (PIC) on aircraft in the category and class for which the PPL is issued
• VFR operations (day) within EASA member states and ICAO-compliant worldwide
• Medical certificate: Class 2.
Entry Requirements
• Minimum age: 17 years
• Medical certificate: Class 2
• RT (radiotelephony) license and LPE level 4+ for radio communication
• Passed theoretical knowledge exams
• No prior flight experience required (ab-initio training)
Flight Training
• Total minimum of 45 flight hours, including:
• Min. 25 hours dual flight instruction with an instructor
• Min. 10 hours solo flight time, incl. at least 5 hours solo cross-country
• One mandatory solo cross-country flight of at least 150 NM with full-stop landings at 2 other aerodromes

PPL
Private Pilot License
The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the ideal starting point for anyone who wants to fly for leisure or as the foundation for a future professional flying career.
With training focused on fundamental flying skills, navigation, and airspace knowledge, the PPL allows you to fly under VFR as Pilot in Command on single-engine aircraft. Additional privileges, such as Night Rating or further advanced training, can be added later.
